Order Processing

Orders are typically processed within 1-2 business days of purchase confirmation. During periods of high order volume, processing may take slightly more time.

You'll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your order has shipped. Tracking information will be included when tracking is available for the shipping method selected. Some shipping methods, such as domestic lettermail for Canadian orders may not have tracking unless the shipping upgrade is purchased at checkout.

Shipping Carrier

All orders placed from within Canada are shipped through Canada Post.

Ordered heading to the United States will ship DDP via ChitChats.

For Canadian orders: Some of our products are shipped via lettermail and oversized lettermail. In these instances, tracking is not provided. You may purchase tracking if it is offered at checkout, otherwise there is no tracking and we are not responsible for when Canada Post delivers your package.

Shipping Rates

Shipping rates depend on the specific items in your order, package weight/dimensions, and destination. Exact shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.

U.S. Customers

We offer DDP, delivered duty paid, on all orders. What this means is that we cover the duties and charges as a result of tariffs and you receive your package normally without extra costs at the door when you get it. So, we cover the costs and you get to enjoy your shopping experience as normal!

Delivery Times

Delivery times vary by destination and are estimated by the courier. MIL does not guarantee specific delivery dates; any estimates shown at checkout are approximations only. We are not responsible for delays after fulfilling your order.

For Canada: Shipping may take anywhere from 2 - 14 business days.

For USA: Shipping may take anywhere from 3 - 8 business days.

Orders are typically processed within 1-2 business days. We do not send out packages over the weekend as this is when post offices are typically closed.

Shipment Responsibility

Once a package has been transferred to the shipping carrier, delivery timelines are outside of our direct control. If your package is delayed, please first check the tracking information or contact the carrier where applicable. Mildly Interesting Life is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers.

If a tracked shipment appears to be lost or arrives damaged, contact us at orders@mildlyinterestinglife.com with your order number. We will attempt to work with you to investigate the issue and determine the appropriate resolution. However, Mildly Interesting Life is not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, delayed, or damaged in transit. We recommend also contacting the shipping carrier in case of any specific questions about their process or delivery times.

For cases of untracked lettermail, this has limited traceability. Canada Post does not provide tracking in default situations, meaning that an order may arrive early or late, but beyond handing the lettermail off to Canada Post, Mildly Interesting Life is not responsible for how long the order takes to deliver.
